A master account allows for the creation and management of sub-accounts.

Unlike a regular account, there is no uploading or updating of content directly through a master account.  Rather, while logged into a master account, you  can manage any sub-accounts as you would if you were logged into those accounts directly.

A master account gives you the ability to distribute licenses to your sub-accounts as well, so new PDF uploads can take place through those sub-accounts.

You can also access usage reports through a master account to show all PDF uploads and any email campaign history of your sub-accounts.

When logged into your master account you will always view the master account horizontal menu bar:

  • Add Account:  Takes you to the create new account screen
  • Accounts: See the list of all sub-accounts under your master account where you can select them and use them as if you were logged in directly
  • Issues:  Access a list of ALL issues created for ALL of your sub-accounts.  Select and manage these issues as if you were logged into their accounts directly
  • FTP Schedule:  Access a schedule of all completed and upcoming FTP jobs for ALL of your sub-accounts
  • Usage Report:  Access reports that show data for ALL of your sub-accounts including
    • ePub licenses:  See uploads for ALL of your sub-accounts in one list.  you can change the reporting period and see Issue ID, Name, Status, date created, date modified, username of the sub-account and account name
    • Email Campaigns:  See all email campaigns sent out over a given reporting period.  Information includes Campaign Name, Title name, Date, Emails Queued, Emails Sent and the Username of the sub-account
    • Upload Allocation:  See how licenses from your master pool have been allocated to sub-accounts in the current month only (cannot change reporting period)
  • Trash Can: As a master account holder, you have the ability to recover accidentally deleted issues that were deleted within the last 24 hours, but deleted after the 12 hour recovery grace period.
