If you are looking at implementing the API to build custom applications/accesses/views for your digital editions, you need to first generate your unique and private API key AND Signature, which is used in each API method Call.  (NEVER SHARE THESE VALUES).

Refering to the screenshot below:

Step 1: Go to "My Account"

Step 2: Click on "API Key" on the left side menu

Step 3: Click on "Generate API key & signature" button

Step 4: Copy and use Key and Signature in your API methods

Step 5: Delete API key & Signature if you are not using any more OR if you believe they have been compromised

Once deleted you can always regenerate your API key and signature by going to Step 3 above.
